Don’t Panic!

This week is going to be crazy busy for me/us… (more on that later)

Next week is Thanksgiving…

The week after is our 4th wedding anniversary, and I write the Praxis II exam…

The week after that….. WE LEAVE FOR SOUTH AFRICA!!

Cue happiness…excitement…anxietypanic…ocd list making…overwhelming joy…fear….head exploding…. or, if I’m lucky, just something like this:

[Now that I have discovered the joys of gifsoup…prepare to come face to face with my squirrel obsession…and you thought Mo was bad with her Bunnies…mwahahaha…no, I will not let it get out of hand, I promise 😉 ]

So…back to this week….

Monday — school work and b.r.e.a.t.h.e…

Tuesday — ladies bible study…

Wednesday — Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 1 Advance Screening with hubby (He’s the best!!)…

Thursday — school work and try to interview a school librarian (for school of course!)…

Friday — fall celebration evening at Mel’s place…

Saturday — school work and b.r.e.a.t.h.e…

Sunday — volunteering at moveable feasts with the ladies

I’m excited for all the fun things we have planned for the week – but I’m also becoming slowly but surely overwhelmed with all the things I have on my teux deux (to do) list and the fact that there doesn’t seem to be much time to do everything.

it wouldn’t be such a big deal if these things only involved preparing for our vacation (which in and of itself if a serious endeavor…planning for voltage differences with regard to all our gadgets and devices, planning what to pack, figuring out everything our dogs will need while we’re away, making sure we take all the necessary paperwork and documents with us, etc etc)…

But, there is a very important content exam for my teacher certification and pretty intense school assignments thrown in there for good measure…

But…as long as I manage to keep my head on straight, prioritize, and remain productive, I will get it all done…

What have you got planned this week?

How do you deal with stress or the feeling of having too much to do in too little time?

  1. I can’t believe next week is Thanksgiving! And I can’t wait to hear about your trip to South Africa. Mt. Kilimanjaro is on my to-do list. Hmmm, usually when I have too much to do in too little time, I push myself and worry and stress and keep pushing myself until I have a minor meltdown, then I can calm down and actually become productive…lol. Sounds like you’re doing a great job and you’ve got some really exciting things coming up! Way to make time for fun too. Keep up the great work and positive attitude!

  2. How fun! I wanna go back to SA…so badly! Love it.

I never have a break from life, so I’m not sure how to priortize at all. LOL.

    Have so much fun! xo
